  • Research Summary:

    Similar/dissimilar brazing materials are focused in the research. Active brazing single layer of super hard materials, e.g., diamond and CBN, is performed, and subsequently brazing/repair brazing various materials, e.g., dissimilar metals and ceramics, are studied. For example, Ti-6Al-4V/17-4PH SS, Ti-6Al-4V/304 SS, 316SS, IN-625, CP-Ti, Ti-6Al-4V, Ti-15-3/Nb/Mo, active brazing alumina and wetting behavior of its filler, various intermetallics (Ti3Al、 TiAl、Ni3Al、NiAl、Ti50Ni50) have been extensively evaluated.
