Prof. C. Robert Kao's Ph. D. student: Mr. Chien-Chieh Li wins TMS2015 "Best Student Paper Award" which were awarded by The Minerals, Metals, and Materials Society (TMS). The purpose of this award is to honor those who make huge contributions in the field of Materials Science development.

This contest is open all student members of TMS and offers an undergraduate and graduate division. Students are encouraged to submit essays on global or national issues as well as technical research papers, relating to any field of metallurgy or materials science. Students should display original thought and creativity in the development of the essays, which should include a comprehensive bibliography on which the paper is based.
