Abstract: One has his/her dream, and it can change dynamically all the time. Mangakka provides images and magician presents illusion. Then, microscopist goes into scientific imagination from images. This is exactly one of the approaches people generate knowledge. The current talk will be an introduction to atom probe microscopy, which is one of the most frontier nanoscale characterization technologies. This demonstrates how I puzzle my research philosophy based on my dreams, especially for metallic researches. At the same while, I will share my experience in PhD research and job hunting. I hope this talk help all young microscopists and material scientists establish your philosophy, search for exciting career, and make dream come true.
