Since 2008, he has been an Associate Professor of Department of Materials Science and Engineering, National Taiwan University.

His main research interests include the atomic layer deposition (ALD) technique, high-k metal gate, ZnO-based photonic devices, Si nanostructures, and efficient Si light-emitting devices.
