演講摘要:Solid-state order of conjugated polymers is determinative in converting molecular properties into useful optoelectronic performances. The rapid development in donor-acceptor conjugated copolymers not only prompts device performances of polymeric optoelectronics, but also resulted in wide varieties of copolymers containing complicate aromatic structural units, whose role in the solid-state order remains largely unexplored.
In this presentation, the influences of the structural units on the interchain interaction, backbone linearity, and backbone rigidity will be first discussed. The solid-state order, chain orientation in the thin-film, and the morphology of the polymer/PCBM blends were further affected by the above-mentioned backbone properties as indicated by the X-ray diffraction, and TEM results. Good hole mobility of 0.29 cm2/Vs and high power conversion efficiency of 7.8% were reached in OFET and OPV devices containing copolymers with appropriate solid-state morphology.
