To help with the MSE department students' upcoming PhD or Master of Engineering applications this year, The University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering offers our students an application fee waiver. To claim the waiver, the applicants just need to enter the code PME23RMR on the page labeled "Application" where it asks if they received an application fee waiver code.

The University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering now offers three graduate programs:

• The PhD in Molecular Engineering program provides students with the opportunity to study with leading experts, both at the University of Chicago and those who are affiliated with the University, who work in areas such as biotechnology, immunoengineering, advanced materials, energy storage, quantum engineering, and ensuring a clean global water supply. Students can focus their degree on Materials Systems for Sustainability and Health or Immunoengineering. Our research in these areas spans polymeric materials, new water purification methods, battery materials, sensing applications, self-assembly of materials to prevent and treat disease, developing more potent therapies for the human immune system and using multifaceted approaches to better understand the fluid and cellular movement through tissues to the lymph system. The application deadline for the ME PhD program is December 15, 2022. 

• In December 2021, PME announced the launch of a PhD in Quantum Science and Engineering. This program blends efforts from faculty in engineering, physics, chemistry, and computer science and aims to ready the next generation of scientists and engineers who will lead advancements in this rapidly growing field. Students enrolled in the PhD program will work directly on technology that will shape the quantum future, learning from world leaders in quantum computing, communications, sensing and materials. The application deadline for the QSE PhD program is December 15, 2022. 

• PME is launching a new program in Autumn 2023, the Master of Engineering. The MEng program is designed to enhance students’ career paths as engineers and prepares them for leadership positions in both entrepreneurship and in established industries. Students select a track in Bio-and Immunoengineering, Materials for Sustainability and Health or Computational Modeling of Materials. The deadlines for the MEng are January 10, 2023, and March 1, 2023.
