Curriculum Requirements and Information for International Master’s and Doctoral Degree Students (PDF)

In the event that the English-taught courses offered by the department are not adequate for an international master’s or doctoral degree student to fulfill his/her course-credits requirement, the student is allowed to take English-taught courses related to materials science and engineering offered by the NTU system, which consists of the National Taiwan University (NTU), National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU), and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST).

The courses taken by a student must be approved by his/her thesis advisor(s) to be considered as graduation credits. At the start of each semester, the student is required to submit a list of courses to be taken in that semester, with the approval and signature of his/her thesis advisor(s), to the Department Curriculum Committee.
